During the 2020 lockdown, Manon Allender spent hours doing puzzles. But very quickly, a realization dawned: We are tired of puzzles featuring little kittens in baskets and postal service calendar landscapes!

At just 30 years old, she decided to create Piece & Love, a French puzzle brand that shakes up the rules with contemporary, sometimes provocative illustrations, original artistic collaborations, and 100% French manufacturing.

Today, every Piece & Love puzzle is conceived as a graphic work of art that is as much of a pleasure to assemble as it is to display afterward.

Manon Allender's Idea

Before Piece & Love, Manon Allender was best known for her appearance on Koh-Lanta. But it was during the COVID years that she came up with a brand-new venture: creating a puzzle brand that would appeal to a generation that no longer identifies with traditional designs.

She creates modern, colorful, and sometimes quirky illustrations that make you want to put together a puzzle with friends, as a couple, or with your family.

Behind every puzzle lies a collaboration

At Piece & Love, each illustration is created in collaboration with an artist or illustrator.

Among the collaborations we offer at Kiplé, you’ll find the creative worlds of Ludivine Joséphine, Radstream, Marion Lagarde, and Elsa Saunier, as well as designs created in partnership with La Belle-Iloise.

Each puzzle thus has its own visual identity, whether inspired by travel, architecture, the seaside, popular culture, or contemporary design.

Piece & Love puzzles are manufactured at a family-owned French company in the Aube region founded in 1929, one of the last manufacturers in France specializing in puzzle production.

This choice allows the brand to preserve authentic industrial expertise while ensuring excellent cut quality, thick cardboard, and a particularly enjoyable assembly experience.

Less packaging, more fun

Piece & Love has chosen to use plastic-free packaging. The puzzles are packaged exclusively in recycled paper and cardboard to minimize their environmental impact.

It’s a simple approach, but one that aligns with the company’s commitment to producing locally, reducing waste, and offering a durable product that can be kept or framed once completed.

Iconic creations
