Find Me : 1000 pieces and even more things to look for

There are already 1000 pieces to find, and Piece & Love decided that was clearly not enough. Find Me turns the puzzle into a real observation game: a miniature city full of characters, buildings, and little scenes in which a multitude of details are hidden, waiting to be discovered.

Designed by Marie Chevalier, graphic designer for Piece & Love, the illustration recalls those images where you could spend hours looking for a hidden character. Except that here, you have to rebuild the city before you can really start exploring it.

With its interlocking buildings, tiny characters, and organization almost worthy of a city-building game, Find Me gives the impression of observing an entire little world from the sky. The more you look, the more you discover something you hadn't noticed before.

Like the other puzzles made in France selected at Kiplé, Find Me is produced in France using 100% recycled FSC-certified cardboard and is plastic-free. Its 6/10 difficulty level offers a nice challenge without being reserved for experts.

A jigsaw puzzle that turns into a game of observation

Placing the final piece doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve finished Find Me. The illustration has been designed to be explored further: characters, objects and little scenes are hidden all over this bustling city.

The design poster provided in the box can, of course, be used as a guide whilst assembling the puzzle. But Piece & Love also invites the more adventurous players to do without it to make the challenge even greater.

That’s also what makes it a particularly great birthday present idea: Find Me isn’t just for puzzle enthusiasts, but also for those who enjoy observation games, spotting small details and setting themselves challenges.

The Little World of Marie Chevalier

Behind this miniature city is Marie Chevalier, an illustrator from the Piece & Love team. With Find Me, she creates a rich and vibrant world where the viewer’s gaze constantly shifts from one building to a character and then to a hidden little scene.

His work can also be found on 00h10, but in a completely different style: this time, there’s no city to explore, but a cosy interior, a log fire and a dog that’s already fast asleep. These two illustrations illustrate quite well the different facets of his creative world at Piece & Love.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Find Me just a puzzle, or is it also a game of observation?
Both. First, you have to put the 1,000 pieces together, but the illustration also contains hidden elements to find. It is this second level of discovery that sets Find Me apart from a traditional jigsaw puzzle and allows you to continue exploring the image once it is complete.
Why does Find Me remind you of ‘Where’s Waldo?’ games?
Because her illustration is based on the same joy of observation: a very rich image, a multitude of characters and small scenes, and hidden details that you discover as you look over the drawing. Find Me remains, however, an original creation by Marie Chevalier for Piece & Love.
Is Find Me difficult to put together?
Piece & Love rates its difficulty as 6/10. The numerous buildings, characters and colours provide plenty of reference points whilst assembling the puzzle, but the 1,000 pieces and the density of the illustration ensure it remains challenging enough to offer a real test.
