Oskar's spinning tops is the colorful and geometric work that French illustrator Malika Favre created for Editions Sulo and which brings this magnificent 1000-pieces puzzle to life. As usual, Editions Sulo has its puzzles produced in France in limited edition, this one, printed in only 500 copies, is available at Kiplé, your gift shop in Divonne-les-bains.

At the crossroads of Pop Art and Opt Art, Malika Favre, French artist, illustrator, is fascinated by geometry, colors and patterns. Her modern and unique work is recognizable by its use of vivid colors and her use of negative spaces which are an integral part of the motifs she creates. It was from the work of one of the fathers of the Bauhaus movement that she drew her inspiration for the puzzle "Oskar's Spinning Tops". Oskar is in fact Oskar Schlemmer, the creator of the Triadic Ballet whose round and imposing costumes largely guided the drawing of Malika Favre in this illustration which seems to move when observed.

It was in 2020 that Jean-Baptiste decided to create Editions SULO by setting himself the challenge of manufacturing original puzzles in France. Through his collaborations with artists of varied genres, he offers us beautiful and complex puzzles that force us to take the time and disconnect.
