Behind Papier and Co is Lise Mailman

Papier and Co was born out of the graphic universe of Lise Mailman, an art director and designer based in Hossegor. Her work blends illustration, visual identity, typography, and storytelling. Each creation conveys an emotion, a travel memory, or a moment in life, with an instantly recognizable style characterized by bright colors, graphic compositions, and messages that bring a smile to your face.

The sun of the Landes on a sheet of paper

It’s impossible to look at a Papier and Co poster without getting a sense of the atmosphere of the Landes coast. The colors, stripes, cafés, hotels, beaches, travel, and the art of living by the ocean all inspire the collections designed in the Hossegor studio. Choosing Slow Print

At Papier and Co, posters and some stationery items are printed on demand or in very small batches. This approach minimizes unnecessary inventory and overproduction while ensuring high-quality printing. The designs are created in Hossegor and then printed in the Landes region or manufactured in France, depending on the collection. It’s a way to balance creativity with responsibility.
