If you're familiar with Nitto, you know this isn't just any wool scarf. It's a French-made wool scarf—soft, warm, and timeless. If you're looking for a merino scarf that will stand the test of time, the Nitto Loris scarf is an obvious choice. Knitted in the family workshop in Clamart, it perfectly illustrates what the brand does best: a simple, timeless, warm, comfortable, and durable piece, designed to be worn every day of winter, without any fuss. A true wardrobe staple, one you'll adopt and cherish for years to come.
A warm, comfortable and durable scarf
This Nitto wool scarf is designed to offer everything you would expect from a good winter accessory:
- soft merino wool, pleasant against the skin,
- a soft and warm knit,
- a generous length that protects against the cold
- a clean and neat finish, true to the know-how of French knitting.
Whether you wear it to work, for a stroll around town, or for an outdoor excursion, it adapts to all situations. Minimalist yet elegant, it pairs easily with a Nitto Ara wool beanie to create a harmonious and 100% French-made ensemble.
Nitto Knitwear: a French family workshop since 1972
The Loris scarf is made in the same place — and with the same expertise — as the iconic Ara hats. In 1972, an Armenian family set up a workshop in Clamart called Tricots Jean-Marc, where hats, scarves, and sweaters are knitted with precision and passion.
Today, this heritage continues under the name Nitto, in the same walls, with the same machines, and above all the same philosophy: to produce locally, in small series, prioritizing sustainability and comfort.
A simple, well-made, and truly French scarf: exactly the kind of clothing and accessories made in France that we like to offer at Kiplé.
